Audrie Andersen, Director

Audrie Andersen is an accounting and finance leader with 15 years of experience helping small businesses establish best practices and growth in their industry. She leverages her expertise in overseeing Public Media Company’s Virtual Accounting services. Prior to Public Media Company, Audrie was the Director of Accounting for Fathom Events. During her seven years at Fathom Events, Audrie streamlined processes and implemented new accounting standards to ensure compliance and the highest efficiencies. Audrie has extensive experience organizing accounting teams to setup businesses for long-term success.

Audrie has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and is a Certified Public Accountant. When Audrie isn’t working, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and being outdoors. After living in Denver for 9 years, Audrie moved to the Phoenix area in 2022, where she is adjusting to life without snow. Email Audrie at

Carlos Barrionuevo, Director

Focused on our local media growth strategies, Carlos has two decades of experience developing new business ideas, forging partnerships, leading acquisitions, and securing revenue-generating opportunities. As Director of Business Development at NPR, he directed the formation of National Public Media and led the planning to create NPR Music. He also led the acquisition of Public Interactive from PRI and established a partnership with commercial radio broadcasters and public radio stations to provide HD data-casting services.

At Tribune Company, he held leadership roles in new digital ventures in partnership with America Online, culminating with his role as Chief Operating Officer of He started his Tribune career in corporate development, where he worked on the acquisition of television stations and evaluated investments in international businesses and online ventures.

Carlos holds an MBA from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester and a BA from the University of Chicago. He recently moved to Georgetown, Maine where he is deeply involved in rural broadband issues and was recently named to the board of the newly formed Maine Connectivity Authority, charged with deploying broadband across the state.

Carlos also serves on the board of Contributor Development Partnership (CDP), a public benefit corporation that provides public media stations with fundraising services. Email Carlos at

Dominic Garzonio, Operations & Communications Specialist

Dominic leverages his extensive experience in non-profit administration and academic background in media studies to facilitate the daily operations of Public Media Company as well as strategically implement company marketing and communications.

Prior to joining Public Media Company, Dominic worked for Interlochen Center for the Arts as both an Assistant Director of Admission and Partnership Manager. During his 5 years at Interlochen, Dominic grew the institution’s overall admission pipeline, drove campus diversity to new heights, and successfully managed numerous recruitment partnerships and events.

Dominic has a PhD in American culture from the University of Michigan as well as master’s and bachelor’s degrees in history from Illinois State University. His research explored race and representation in U.S. film, media, and culture. Outside of work, Dominic enjoys small-town living, reading and writing, as well as spending time with family and friends in the picturesque landscapes of northern Michigan. Email Dominic at

Sonya Gomez, Accounting Assistant

Sonya has four years of managerial experience working in the hospitality and service industries. Throughout her career, she has honed her leadership skills, navigating diverse teams, resolving challenges, and driving impactful results. Channeling this experience, Sonya will support Public Media Company administratively as well as work with our Virtual Accounting clients.

Her hunger for knowledge and passion for continuous improvement led Sonya to embark on a new educational endeavor. Currently enrolled at Front Range Community College, she is pursuing an associate degree in accounting to delve deeper into the finance realm and enhance her understanding of financial principles and practices. Adeeb Hafeez, Financial Analyst

Adeeb is a Financial Analyst at Public Media Company. He enjoys being a part of a team that enriches the community around him. He applies his finance, accounting, and data analysis skills, working with stations across the country to help them grow.

Adeeb received his master's degree in Finance from the University of Michigan - Dearborn and his bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. Vivian He, Senior Accountant 

As Senior Accountant for Public Media Company, Vivian represents a key role in the Virtual Accounting practice of Public Media Company. Her responsibilities cover full-cycle accounting and assistance with financial statement preparation for a varied client portfolio.

Prior to joining Public Media Company, Vivian has worked for more than 10 years in organizations ranging from non-profit, equipment manufacturing,  IT, sales and distribution in both China and the US. With her hands-on accounting experience, data analysis skills, system knowledge, and focus on process improvement, she contributes a well-rounded skill set and perspective in service to PMC’s clients. Originally from China, Vivian received her bachelor's degree in English in Beijing and later spent several years living in the UK. Vivian has made her home in Boulder since 2009. Stephen Holmes, Managing Director

Steve has extensive experience working in partnership with public media leaders to provide new insights and develop strategies to increase local impact and long-term station sustainability. Steve provides Public Media Company clients with analytical, strategic, and financial management consulting services that help ensure public media organizations of all sizes play a relevant and growing role in their communities.

Prior to joining Public Media Company, Steve worked for the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) as Senior Director, Strategy & Insight. Steve provided critical insight to public media leaders and created knowledge management practices and tools such as the Station Management Center (now “PBS HUB”). Steve also managed all aspects of the PBS strategic planning and performance management process. Before working in public media, Steve helped launch, acquire and grow new products, services and businesses around the world as part of Royal Mail’s International Services team. Rick Holter, Consultant

A seasoned news leader in print, digital and audio, Rick specializes in content – produced by newsrooms, podcast teams and others on any platform. He’s a go-to source for guidance in newsroom structure, strategy and new products, with extensive expertise in journalism collaborations. Rick spent nine years as Vice President of News at KERA in North Texas, where his newsroom earned more than 220 local, regional and national awards, including the station’s first-ever national Edward R. Murrow Awards. He spearheaded the creation of  The Texas Newsroom, the first regional news hub in NPR’s Collaborative Journalism Network.

A graduate of the University of Maryland, Rick cut his journalistic teeth at newspapers including the News & Observer in Raleigh, N.C., the St. Petersburg Times in Florida and the Dallas Morning News. He made the jump to public media in 2006, working for NPR as supervising editor of Weekend All Things Considered, the daily newsmagazine Day to Day and digital news desk of Email Rick at

Tim Isgitt, CEO

Tim is a nonprofit leader who has worked throughout his career to support and advance public and independent media. His extensive background in philanthropy, public media, government, and consulting allows Tim to advise nonprofit media leaders on how to strengthen their organizations and services to their communities. Tim focuses his time on forging new partnerships and initiatives to build the overall growth and sustainability of public and independent media.

Prior to joining the Public Media Company team, Tim served as Managing Director of Humanity United, a human rights-focused philanthropic organization. He helped the organization focus and redevelop its mission, values, and strategic direction. He also built a public engagement portfolio aimed at cultivating greater levels of understanding, accountability, and action from key stakeholders, including lawmakers, corporations, investors, and civil society organizations.

Previously, Tim served as Senior Vice President of Communications and Government Affairs at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, as well as in leadership and service roles at the U.S. State Department and public affairs firms Burson-Marsteller and Meyers & Associates. Tim began his career as a legislative assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Tim received his BA in political science from Texas A&M University, and his MA in government from The Johns Hopkins University. He serves on the boards of Media Impact Funders, a membership organization that advances the work of a broad range of funders committed to effective use and support of media in the public interest, and The Fuller Project, a global newsroom dedicated to groundbreaking reporting on women.

Evran Kavlak, Consultant

Evran creates complex financial models, business plans and asset valuations for clients. He works directly with organizations ranging from start-ups to the largest public broadcasters providing valuable operational and financial insight through data analytics, business plans and overall industry trends (radio/TV/digital) to senior management as well as key decisions makers at the board level. Evran also assists public broadcasters in evaluating signal expansion opportunities and facilitates loans for clients. He played a key role in underwriting and structuring the $8M in loans made to public broadcasting organizations from PMC’s Public Radio Fund.

Prior to affiliating with Public Media Company in 2005, Evran served as an accounting assistant at KPBS in San Diego. Evran began his career in Istanbul, Turkey at an investment trust firm, evaluating the financial condition of publicly traded stocks in a variety of industries.

Evran earned a master's degree in finance from California State University in San Diego and a bachelor’s degree in management engineering from Istanbul Technical University in Turkey. Outside of work, Evran is an avid photographer and loves to travel. Email Evran at

Erin Moran, Senior Managing Director

Erin is a nonprofit leader with a longstanding passion for building innovative and sustainable enterprises. With more than three decades of advisory and financial oversight roles, she brings extensive experience as a key consultant to many growing nonprofits in public media.

Between 2019 and 2023 Erin served as CEO of Public Media Company and now focuses on advising public and independent media on financial, governance, and operational strategic initiatives. She also serves as the Virtual CFO for several of PMC’s clients.

Prior to joining Public Media Company in 2002, Erin ran the finance, operations, and IT functions of a $250 million business unit in Europe for Key Bank. Other earlier roles include Vice President, Systems Integrations and Director of Internal Audit, Tax and Investment Programs. Erin started her career as an auditor with two of the largest international CPA firms and has also served as a graduate student instructor at Leeds Business School at the University of Colorado. In 2011, she was named CFO of the Year for Small Companies by the Denver Business Journal.

A graduate of the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois, Erin is a Chartered Global Management Accountant, a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In her spare time, Erin enjoys running, hiking, and serves on the Board of Earth’s Table, a non-profit focused on ending hunger in Boulder County. Email Erin at

Mythili Sathishkumar, Senior Accountant

Mythili has more than 10 years of experience in various finance and accounting roles and puts her knowledge to use in the role of Senior Accountant at Public Media Company. She is responsible for the day-to-day Accounting and Human Resources functions for PMC and works with the Virtual Accounting team providing services to various clients.

Prior to 2023, she served as PMC’s Senior Financial Analyst by collecting demographic, market, station, and other pertinent information to help public media leaders assess their financial metrics and evaluate the financial implications of their stations' strategic initiatives.

Before joining Public Media Company, Mythili worked as an office manager in the hospitality industry in Denver, Colorado. She has a master's degree in commerce from Annamalai University, India. Alison Scholly, Managing Director

Alison has more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in public broadcasting, journalism and digital media start-ups, launching and stewarding many new editorial products and services in newspapers, public radio and online news sites. She currently provides strategic and operations management consulting services to nonprofit public and independent media in her role as Managing Director, Public Media Company. Alison’s skills and expertise include creating and advising on effective models for journalism and content initiatives and launching new independent media ventures.

Earlier, Alison was Chief Operating Officer and interim CEO of Chicago Public Media, leading a team of 135 employees and architecting WBEZ’s rapid digital expansion, which included podcasts and national shows This American Life and Sound Opinions and Alison also held several media leadership roles at Tribune Company, serving as Interactive Vice President of the Chicago Tribune, expanding Tribune’s digital business and tripling audience reach to 5.1 million unique visitors a month. A digital native, Alison served as executive producer of and editor of Metromix, Chicago’s first online arts and entertainment website.

Alison holds a graduate degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and a B.S. from Vanderbilt University, where she ran the college’s radio station, WRVU Nashville. Outside of work, Alison enjoys biking and traveling (preferably both at the same time). Email Alison at

Colleen Sibthorp, Accounting Manager

With over 30 years of Public Radio leadership experience, Colleen joined Public Media Company in January of 2022 after retiring from WVIK Quad Cities NPR as the Director of Finance and Membership. She is highly skilled in financial management with expertise in CPB grants and reporting, broadcast regulations, strategic planning, programming, marketing and development, community involvement and outreach, and membership/annual individual giving.

Colleen earned her undergraduate degree from Augustana College in Psychology and Computer Science and has supplemented her education with numerous accounting classes to enhance her knowledge base. In her personal time, she enjoys cooking, photography, traveling – especially with her family, and exploring her new neighborhood in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Email Colleen at
