The Music X Project will be officially named and launched at SXSW 2015 in a panel session called, “MTV for 2015: A New Music Video Channel by PubRadio.” This streaming platform will feature unique music videos of live performances from stations across the country. While other noncommercial stations will join the collaboration, the project is currently being led by 5 founding stations (KCRW/LA, WXPN/Philly, WFUV/NYC, KTBG/KC and KUTX/Austin) and Public Media Company.
